In summary, I write custom bots per the specifications from client.. Essentially, I work with clients to automate the trading process based on a winning algorithm developed by someone like yourself. In recent months, I have also partnered up with www.sportingbots.com to market tested and proven bots to the general public.
Before the availability of the Free BetFair API, I have written bots using my own BetFair library based on webscraping. However, due to certain restrictions on the the Free BetFair API, I continue to augment the API with my own library to allow faster bot performance and keeping it free. One good example is getting live data. The Free BetFair API allows only 1 call per second but with my API, there is no such restriction. For very demanding bots, I am also a certified BetFair API developer and therefore have a vendor license and write bots with the full BetFair API.
I have also written webscraping API for the development of BetFair Games (Poker, Blackjack etc) bots. However, recently BetFair has announced the free Games API based on REST technology and this opens up a whole universe of Games bots.
Finally, I never gamble on any online gambling site. I know the concepts well and I am only involved with Betfair purely from a programming point of view. BetFair can never be used from the United States and I will not serve anyone who resides in the United States per recent internet gambling legislation.
All my BetFair bots have been written using Microsoft C#.NET using both webscraping and BetFair API Versions 4 and 5. They will run on Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP Home and Professional Editions and Windows Vista.
